Spotlight on the Arts: Emma Kalff
Ridgway artist Emma Kalff’s most recent project, a series of plein air paintings of local landmarks, is instantly recognizable to residents. On each 6 by 6 inch canvas, she has painted familiar scenes of the town: the bronze eagle at Dennis Weaver Memorial Park, the awnings of the former Burro cafe, and even the Conoco gas station, set against a cloudless summer sky.
