TRUE GRIT TOUR: Free walking tour of True Grit film sites. Meet at 3 p.m. at the Hartwell Park gazebo in Ridgway.

TRAIN RIDES: Free train rides at the Ridgway Railroad Museum, 200 N. Railroad St. 10 a.m.– 2 p.m.
OURAY HISTORY WALKING TOUR: Tour with Jenny Hart from 4:30–6:30 p.m. Meet at the Ouray County Museum, 420 Sixth Ave. Space limited to 15 people, RSVP to the museum at 970-325-4576. $20 per person, $15 for members.
NATURE PROGRAM: “Birding on a Nature Walk” with Mike Campbell, 7–8:30 p.m. at the Ridgway State Park Visitor Center, Dutch Charlie entrance. Free.
RIDGWAY FILM CLUB: 7:30 p.m. at the Decker Room, 675 Clinton St. in Ridgway.

FILM: Free screening of documentary “For the Record,” with discussion about local journalism with Ouray County Plaindealer staff, Emmy award-winning journalist Judy Muller and Laurie Ezzell Brown, publisher of the Canadian Record. Includes reception with light refreshments. Film starts at 7 p.m. at The Wright Opera House, 472 Main St. in Ouray.
RIVERFEST: 17th Annual Ridgway RiverFest from noon to 5 p.m. at Rollans Park, 257 Sherman St. in Ridgway. Junk of the Unc competition at 2 p.m., live music by Joint Point at 2:30 p.m. Visit ridgwayriverfest.org for details and full schedule.
TRAIN RIDES: Free train rides at the Ridgway Railroad Museum, 200 N. Railroad St. every Saturday, May-October, 10 a.m.– 2 p.m.

CONCERT: Courthouse Blues Band and Smokin’ J’s perform at the Ouray Volunteer Fire Department benefit concert from 6–10 p.m. in Fellin Park in Ouray. $10 at the gate, ages 12 and under are free.

LIVE MUSIC: Ridgway Concert Series presents High Step Society with The Little Mercies. 6 p.m. at Hartwell Park in Ridgway. Free.

FOURTH OF JULY PARADE: Fourth of July parade down Main Street, Ouray, 10-11 a.m. including flyover by Colorado Air National Guard, between 10:30-10:45 a.m.
KIDS GAMES: Fourth of July kids games with the Ouray Volunteer Fire Department at Fellin Park, Ouray, 11 a.m.–1 p.m.
WATERFIGHTS: Ouray Fourth of July water fights at Sixth Avenue and Main Street, 2–4 p.m.
EVENING PARADE/FIREWORKS: Ouray Main Street Fourth of July Jeep Light Parade, 9 p.m. followed by fireworks, weather permitting.
