Climber rescued after fall on Mount Sneffels
A climber who fell while descending Mount Sneffels last week endured stormy weather and spent the night on the mountain with his rescuers before he was plucked off the peak and flown to the hospital.
The climber, a man in his mid-50s who is an experienced mountain climber, was taken to a hospital in Grand Junction in stable condition, according to Ouray Mountain Rescue Team Capt. Ruth Stewart.
