Tax increase for medical center building is reasonable
Dear Editor,
In 2000, voters secured the future of medical services for Ouray County residents when approving the establishment of the Regional Service Authority. The 1%, 10-year mill levy a llowed purchase of a fully-equipped medical facility. Taxpayer ownership allows RSA negotiations with physicians for medical services.
