Anglers can help protect downstream water users and native fish while scoring cash prizes during the sixth annual Smallmouth Bass Fishing Tournament at Ridgway State Park

The tournament, sponsored by Colorado Parks and Wildife, runs through Aug. 9. No registration fee is required. All anglers over the age of 16 must have a fishing license to participate.

A total of $10,000 in prize money is being offered. The more fish participants catch, the more chances they have for prizes.
