The city of Ouray today reopened public bathrooms that have been closed for weeks due to concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic. What a relief: Restrooms reopen
Visitors have been filtering back onto Ouray’s Main Street the last couple of weeks, since retail stores reopened and hotels and motels began taking reservations again.
But it wasn’t until now that those folks had a place to go when Mother Nature calls.
The city reopened public bathrooms today (Thursday), much to the relief of both tourists and business owners who have no answer the last several weeks to the question: Where can I use the restroom?
