DA’s office lauded for work on wildlife cases

Colorado Parks and Wildlife recognized the 7th Judicial District Attorney's office for its work prosecuting wildlife cases.
  The state wildlife commission has upheld a 10-year hunting ban for an outfitter convicted in a case involving baiting elk on a private ranch near Ridgway. A well-known local bowhunter, Tim Strickland, was convicted in the case last year after prosecutors offered him a plea agreement.
