The inaugural Ouray Filmmaker Sabbatical welcomed film professionals from around the world from March 7-10 in Ouray. This first cohort of 10 sabbatical participants hailed from a wide variety of locations, including the United Kingdom, New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago and Austin, Texas. More than 300 applications were received for this program. The sabbatical’s mission is to extend the hospitality that lies at the mission of the Ouray International Film Festival, scheduled for June 18-21 this year.
