Members of the combined Ouray-Silverton middle school cross country team hand out water at an aid station near the Angel Creek campground on Saturday to the runners in the 52nd Annual Imogene Pass Run. The race took runners from Ouray to Telluride, over the 13,114-foot Imogene Pass. The 17.1 mile race included 418 women and 516 men this year. Renee Metevier, 43, of Flagstaff, Arizona, was the top woman finisher with a time of 2:32:54. She broke the previous women’s record set in 2009, by more than three minutes. Telluride runner Spencer Keating, 24, was the first male runner across the finish line with a time of 2:25:19.
