For Barb Latham, it feels like a homecoming.

A return to Alpine Bank, where she started her career at 19. A return to Ouray County, where she lived and worked for nearly two decades before briefly relocating.

Latham was named vice president and manager of Alpine Bank’s Ridgway and Ouray branches in July.

“This is the place I love the best, the place I know friends,” she said of her return to Ouray County.
