Bruce Bergman

Bruce Bergman, age 84, passed away in peace surrounded by his loved ones Friday, February 12, 2021.

He was originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, but had been a resident of Ridgway, Colorado, for the past 24 years. He and his wife, Dixie, moved here after his retirement because of the area’s magnificent natural beauty and all that it had to offer. He had always loved the mountains and was able to enjoy his passions of hiking, skiing, snowmobiling and fly-fishing.

Bruce was an engineer in the Paper Division of the Procter & Gamble Company and spent his career designing and manufacturing new products with multiple patents in his name. His work took him across the entire USA, as well as completing several international assignments throughout Asia. This fueled his love of travel and he was able to share his exploration of the world with his family.

At his Bruce was a man of core, was a man many equally capable of generating intellectual ideas, as well as working with his hands. He was truly a charming and fun-loving man that was beloved by all those that were part of his life and community. He will be greatly missed.
