Enrollment decline continues in Ouray
Enrollment in Ouray Schools this fall hasn’t dipped as much as Superintendent Scott Pankow estimated it would, but a continued decline still has school board members nervous and wondering when they may have to cut expenses.
There were 165 students enrolled as of last week, a drop of 15 compared to the fall of 2018. The district will report an official head count to the state on Oct. 1.
