Primary ballots mailed to voters

Ouray County voters should begin receiving ballots in the mail this week in advance of the June 30 primary election.

Most of the competition for the primary election is at the state and federal level. There are no Republican candidates for county offices. The only Democrat candidate for county office is Ouray resident Glynn Williams, who is a placeholder for the District 2 county commissioner seat currently held by unaffiliated Commissioner Michelle Nauer.
