Georgia Ann Pesicka, age 76, of Littleton, Colorado, passed away at home on March 29, 2026, surrounded by family.
Georgia was born on April 19, 1949, in Montrose, Colorado, to Sam and Rebecca Trujillo. She was the second oldest of 11 siblings and was raised in Ouray, Colorado, where she developed a deep love of the outdoors and the beauty of the mountains. She was known for her strength, warmth, and deep love for her family. Georgia touched the lives of many and will be remembered for her caring nature and the joy she brought to those around her.
Georgia is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Ken Pesicka; her children, Chrystal Schmitten and her husband Phil Schmitten, Amy Kraft Rawls and her husband Travis Rawls, and Brad Pesicka and his partner Jasmine Schell. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Lucas (20), Joey (16), Casen (12), and Mayla (12). Georgia cherished every moment spent with them and loved watching them grow. She is also survived by her six brothers and three sisters, all of whom she loved dearly.
Georgia was preceded in life by her parents, Sam and Rebecca Trujillo and her brother, Jody Trujillo.
Georgia’s family was the center of her life, and she took great pride in supporting and spending time with those she loved. Her memory will be deeply cherished by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
A Mass will be held at Saint Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 6673 W. Chatfield Ave., Littleton, CO 80128, on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 10:30 a.m.
Burial will follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 4400 W. Kenyon Ave., Denver, CO 80236, at 12:30 p.m.
Reception following burial from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. at Platte River Bar and Grill 5995 S. Santa Fe Dr., Littleton, CO 80120
