Judge rules town can purchase strip of property for public trail, connecting River Park subdivision and Ridgway Secondary School
The town of Ridgway will be allowed to condemn private property to build a trail from the River Park subdivision to Ridgway Secondary School.
According to an order dated on Sunday and filed this morning from Seventh Judicial Chief District Judge Cory Jackson, the town met the requirements to prove taking a slice of David Sneed’s property is for a public purpose, and the town followed the process correctly for acquiring the property.
