VOLUNTEER EVENT: Help plant flags on veterans’ graves for Memorial Day. Meet at 9:30 a.m. at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 18510 Highway 550, and at 1 p.m. at Dallas Park Cemetery, 7690 Colorado Highway 62. Bring a hammer and a stake. Contact Patty Blackford with questions at 970-318-8891.

TRAIN RIDES: Free train rides at the Ridgway Railroad Museum, 200 N. Railroad St. every Saturday, May-October, 10 a.m.– 2 p.m.

HANDS ON HISTORY: “Buckets of Milk” Hands on History from 11 a.m.– 3 p.m. at the Ouray County Ranch History Museum, 321 Sherman St. in Ridgway. Free museum open house, make butter, dairy scavenger hunt and ice cream truck. Visit ocrhm.org for details.
