The most recent map of collared gray wolf activity in Colorado shows wolf activity in Ouray County for the first time since wolves were reintroduced in the state in December 2023. Colorado Parks and Wildlife says a single female gray wolf that was released in January has covered more than 1,230 miles in that time, including nearly the entire southern line of watersheds shown in the map above.
