The property neighbors the Ridgway Secondary School on the north, and students were using a shortcut through the parcel before Sneed installed a fence. Town seeks condemnation for walking path; owner insists no public benefit
The landowner who fenced his property and put up “no trespassing” signs to keep children from cutting through his River Park lot to get to school is fighting the town of Ridgway's attempt to condemn the property for a walking path.
