Becky Bellrose, age 75, of Ouray, Colorado, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2024.
She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness and generosity touched all who knew her.
Becky lived a full and wonderful life, calling many places home — from Illinois to Alaska, Montana, Hawaii and finally, Colorado.
She shared her life with her husband, Frank Bellrose, in Ouray, where she spent her later years dedicated to her family and community. Becky dedicated her life to service, first with her teaching career in Pekin, Illinois, and later with her time spent volunteering with Ouray’s school, Neighbor to Neighbor, St. John’s Episcopal Church and the Ouray County Woman’s Club.
She is survived by her children, Robert Bellrose and Jackie Bellrose Lloyd (Drew), and her grandchildren: Libby, Isla, Pierce, and Lander. Her brother, John Parks, also survives her, along with many dear friends and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Bobby Parks.
Private services will be held at a later date.
