Dear Editor: Mr. Perkovich has not separated himself from the leader of the Republican Party who lies, almost daily, often hatefully, about individuals and groups, including immigrants. The Republican leader’s criminal convictions, as well as his lies and conspiracy theories about immigrants, among many other targets, raises questions about his character. A GOP candidate for political office in a small, diverse community must respond to those same questions of character.
