FREE FILM IN THE PARK: Ouray International Film Festival presents four films focused on trials and triumphs of the outdoors, including “SAR: Search and Rescue.” Free films for the community in Fellin Park, 8:45-10 p.m. Live music with Brother & The Hayes from 7-8:30 p.m.

FARMERS MARKET: Ridgway Farmers Market, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. in Hartwell Park. Fridays until Oct. 11. Free train rides at the Ridgway Railroad Museum, 200 N. Railroad St. during the market.

FREE TOUR: Guided one hour walking tour of “True Grit” film locations in Ridgway. Meet at 2:45 p.m. at the Hartwell Park gazebo.

NATURE PROGRAM: “Crayfish and Macros” program, Free, nets provided, 9-11 a.m. Pa-Co-Chu-Puk entrance at Ridgway State Park.

PARADE: Fourth of July parade down Main Street, Ouray, 10-11 a.m. including flyover by Colorado Air National Guard, between 10:30-10:45 a.m.

WATER FIGHTS: Ouray Fourth of July water fights at Sixth Avenue and Main Street, 2-4 p.m.
