Dear Editor: Election season is in full swing, with primaries coming up June 25 and the general election Nov. 5, 2024. It is in everyone’s best interest that voters acquire factual information about the candidates and ballot issues so that they can make informed decisions about how to vote. Our grassroots organization, the League of Women Voters of the Uncompahgre Valley, is all about voter education and advocacy, particularly related to voter rights and transparency in government.
