Last week I thought spring might have sprung as grass and dandelions morphed from beige to green, aspen cattails rioted in soft breezes, crocus bloomed, and love-hungry birds broadcast mating calls. This week? Not so much. Sketchy winter 2023-24 declared itself NOT over in spite of the calendar. High temperatures plummeted from 55 degrees last week to 30 this week.
