Along with pikas, bighorns need monitoring in San Juans

Dear Editor: I want to point out that there is another citizen science project in the San Juans — maybe not as cute as pikas but definitely consequential and important. Mountain Studies Institute is helping with a bighorn monitoring project led by Terry Meyers of the Rocky Mountain Bighorn Society. Robyn Cascade and Great Old Broads have been leading the local effort.
