Dear Editor: I would agree with boilers being used to supplement the temperature of the Ouray Hot Springs Pool as long as the water is from the same source and the water chemistry is kept the same.

What is important is that the hot areas of the pool are always hot and that the “relax and play” areas are comfortable 365 days a year.

Further, my grandchildren like the pool’s “play areas” so I am glad those areas are there.
