Attorney general seeks answers to delivery issues from Amerigas
Ouray resident Lillian McMurrin clears snow off the top of her new propane tank from Pioneer Propane on Tuesday. McMurrin is one of several local residents who have reported problems with receiving propane refills from Amerigas the last couple of months. Attorney general seeks answers to delivery issues from Amerigas

The Colorado Attorney General’s office is asking Amerigas for answers after customers across the state have reported propane delivery issues.

In a letter sent Wednesday to the Pennsylvania- based company, Attorney General Phil Weiser questioned if the company, which is the largest retail propane distributor in the country, is violating Colorado laws.

“Your failure to provide propane is endangering Coloradans and placing minor children and elderly consumers at risk,” the letter said. “These...
