Appreciation for the printed newspaper
Dear Editor: After a nearly 5-year hiatus, I am subscribing again to the Plaindealer with the hope that it has not gone completely in the direction of other “weaklys.” In this digital age, the internet has taken over the sublimity of a “real paper copy” and produced a computerized series of pages viewable on a screen. I get it. Simplicity has replaced the sublime. Less work and less expense makes for an affordable product.
