The Ouray Dog Park will not house construction workers for the city’s water and wastewater treatment plants.
The City Council determined Monday that “man camp” housing for construction workers wouldn’t achieve their goal of cutting costs for the projects.
Councilors first floated the idea at a meeting in May, when they discussed housing some workers at city parks. After almost an hour of conversation, they appeared to be in agreement about putting trailers at the dog park.
