The Home Trust of Ouray County will receive a $360,000 loan from the state to purchase a vacant lot in Ridgway, where the organization plans to build a childcare center and affordable rental apartments.

The State Housing Board voted last week to approve the land acquisition funds for Executive Director Andrea Sokolowski to buy the property at 660 Sherman St.
