After a months-long winter break, construction on U.S. Highway 50 between Montrose and Gunnison will resume Monday, March 7.

Starting that day, motorists should expect light road work with occasional, alternating one-way traffic with no nighttime closures through March 31. Work is being done on a four-mile stretch of highway between mile markers 123 and 127 to reroute the road in some place sand widen it in other places.
