David Roland Hinkson

David, 65, died on February 4, 2022, to cancer at a Duke University Hospital.

He was born on July 18, 1956, in Artesia, California. The son of Roland Cecil and Faye (Kartchner) Hinkson.

David went to Ouray Schools in Ouray, Colorado. He received his GED in 1974 and enlisted in the U.S. Navy, where he served two years at the Norfolk Naval Air Station. David married in 1979 to Marda “Marie” Clark. He was blessed with six children.

David was a great inventor and entrepreneur. His passion, joy and pride was being the owner and founder of Water OZ mineral’s and having his own radio show.

David was always trying to make things better for people, with his minerals and by creating more efficient engines and energy saving invention’s.

David was predeceased by his brother, Gary Michael Hinkson (1982) and his daughter Ashley Marie Hinkson (1987). Surviving in addition to his parents, Roland and Faye Hinkson of Ouray, Colorado, are sister Kathrine Jensen and her husband; brother Craig Hinkson and his wife; his children, Matthew and his wife, Kimberly, Michael, Rebecca and Mark; ten grandchildren; his ex-wife Marie; and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held in Kamiah, Idaho. Date and time TBD.
