Less dollars in vacation rentals means less dollars for local economy

We’ve owned a home in Ouray for 17 years. We hoped to move there with our family when our son was born. Alas, he had medical complications that derailed those plans. We had already purchased a home, so we decided to try to keep it, maybe make it there someday. We vacation rented it and it’s allowed us to afford to keep it and make the best friendships in our lives.
