A forever public health tax for a temporary pandemic

It’s officially “tax increase hunting season” in Ouray County.
Ballot Measure 1A is an opportunistic, poorly written and vague $411,003 forever tax increase for “public health” without a sunset clause and demands to bypass TABOR.
The COVID pandemic is real. The Ouray County Board of County Commissioners is using the pandemic for political purposes … demanding a never ending tax increase for a temporary pandemic. You know … “never let a good crisis go to waste.”
