Jack Eugene Clark Sr. Born November 20, 1925, passed away at his home in Ouray, Colorado, on July 8th, 2021 at the age of 95 years. Jack was proceeded in death by his father Lister F. Clark and mother Mary R. Clark at the age of 109 years, his wife Jacqueline Clark, his son Jarred E. Clark, and his brother Lester F. Clark. Jack is survived by his son Jack E. Clark Jr. (Barbara J.), daughter Jewel Williams,(Ron), daughter Jill Schoenebaum (Eric), 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Jack was born and raised in Ouray, served in the United States Navy, & fought in the Pacific Theater in WWII, worked in the mining industry, operated a bakery, build the 4-J Camground, was chief of police, mayor of Ouray and Worshipful Master of the Ouray Masonic Lodge. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Funeral services will be held at St. Daniels Catholic Church in Ouray on August 7th, at 11:00 A.M., with graveside services at the Cedar Hill Cemetery North of Ouray to follow.
