Rejected in Ridgway, foundation proposes affordable housing neighborhood in Ouray
The Telluride Foundation has proposed building 60 units of deed-restricted, affordable housing on a nineacre parcel of land in Ouray north of the old Biota building now housing the Ouray Silver Mines warehouse.
In a presentation at a Ouray City Council work session Monday, President and CEO Paul Major explained a vision for the property as part of the foundation’s Rural Homes: For Sale, For Locals initiative. The program is intended to be a pilot project with multiple sites, including Nucla and...
