Ouray police confiscated two movie-prop hundred dollar bills after a Texas man tried to pay with one at the Goldbelt Bar & Grill on March 21, Chief Jeff Wood said.

The bills are not counterfeit, he said, because they are clearly labeled “for motion picture use only.”

The server noticed the bill was fake, refused to accept it and contacted police. Sgt. Gary Ray, who responded to the call, seized both fake bills from Blake Bega, 26.
