I am writing today to correct a misstatement in an article that appeared in the December 17-23, 2020 edition of the Ouray County Plaindealet The article indicated that Ouray County had $200,000 of CARES Act allocation dollars remaining to be spent within the next two weeks. Please be assured that Ouray County has expended the majority of its CARES Act allocation dollars to purchase items and services associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.
