The first call in the dead of night from the Ridgway marshal didn’t rouse Sally Jo Ocasio.

It wasn’t until a little later — still hours before dawn Wednesday — that she answered another call, this time from fellow proprietor Jennifer Dewey.

There was a fire at her business.

The early-morning blaze destroyed pretty much everything inside Ocasio’s much-loved thrift and consignment store, The Vault Vintage and Consignment, and heavily damaged the 113-year-old building at 540 Clinton St.
