At least 800 tests for COVID-19 were performed today at the mass testing event at the Ouray County Fairgrounds, eclipsing the two-day total of tests in the last mass testing event.

Health officials ran out of tests twice during the day by 2 p.m., and ended the testing event using the nasal swabs the county had on-hand once they ran out of approximately 750 oral swabs. According to county officials, there were still 120 cars in line at 5:30 p.m. waiting for tests.
