Dear Editor:

What a difference a year makes. With all of the uncertainty related to COVID-19, the experience of preparing our five kids for the first day of school has been very different this year. With uncertainty across the state as to will we or won’t we open our schools, I am very grateful for the thoughtful leadership of and consistent communication from our superintendent, Susan Lacy, and the herculean efforts of her team of educators and her staff.
