Kathleen May “Kay” PECK (Lair), age 97, formerly of Ouray passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2020 in Las Vegas, NV. Kay was born in Durango, Colorado on September 2nd, 1922 and lived there for most of her childhood. Kay graduated from high school in California and became a carhop where she met Harry J. Peck. Kay and Harry were married during WWII. Kay and Harry lived in Ouray for around 70 years. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge and was very passionate about the organization and its mission. Kay was survived by one sister, Elaine Kessler, 99; daughter Sharon Weller, son Nick Peck and his wife, Sherry; son Larry and his wife, Sandy; daughter Sandy and her husband, Pete; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at Cedar Hills Cemetery in Ouray on Saturday, September 5th at 10 a.m. Afterwards, a gathering wi ll be held at the Peck residence for the celebration of life.
