State grants pool variance for Ouray County
The state has granted a variance to Ouray County for increased capacity at both indoor and outdoor pools.
The approval came on Wednesday night in an email to Health Department Director Tanner Kingery, who had submitted an updated version of the variance request after hearing feedback from state officials indicating if the county modified its request, it would be approved.
