Marcy Grace MacKintosh Snelling Hallstrand

Marcy Grace MacKintosh was born Dec. 14, 1922 in Jacksonville, Fla. and passed June 13, 2020 in Ridgway, Colorado.

Her parents were John MacKintosh and Margaret Higgens.

Marcy was aware and fully aware until her passing at 97 years old. She appreciated her caregivers and friends and family and lived a full and vibrant life.

She was a member and organist for Pinecrest Presbyterian Church in Miami, Florida and most recently the United Church of the San Juans in Ridgway, Colorado. Her faith gave her strength.

Marcy was a hands on mother to 3, an avid tennis player and world traveler.

She was married to and survived both husbands, William Snelling and David Hallstrand.

She passed peacefully at home on Saturday, June 13, 2020 and a lovely double rainbow marked her passing. She was a friend to many and loved by all, she will be greatly missed.

Marcy is survived by her children Judi Snelling, Patsy Young, and Bill Snelling grandchildren Nick Pasquareillo, Merlyn Ellis, and Stazie Snelling and five great grandchildren.

Any donations in her memory will go to the amazing caregivers of Hope West Hospice.

A memorial service will be held at United Church of the San Juans Friday July bo at 3 PM.
