One of the candidates for sheriff seems to have a wink and a nod, good-ole-boy attitude towards law abidance. Candidate Ted Wolfe has flaunted the county sign ordinance which plainly states that candidate signs cannot be larger than “six (6) square feet”. Ouray Cnty Code $8.5A “Signage”. That is typically a 2 foor by 3 foot sign. There is no nuance or vaguencess to the ordinance.
