Board contemplates tapping reserves
The Ridgway School Board is conside ring using reserve funds instead of making cuts to an already tight budget.
Superintendent Susan Lacy told the board during a May 7 special session that the district would be able to handle cuts from the state of 5 percent, but cuts are expected to be 15 percent or more. She asked the board for gu idance o n how to plan the budget going forward.
