Ridgway School cross-country runner Cade Norwood leads a group of Ouray, Ridgway and Silverton runners at the start of the 5K race in the Cowboy Invitational in Gunnison on Sept. 14. From left to right behind him are Hayden Hart (Ouray), Sean Taplin (Ridgway), Rock Gibbs (Ouray), Paton Edwards (Silverton) and Kaden Nelson (Ouray). Hart finished 35th out of 131 runners, while Norwood finished 47th, Gibbs 70th, Nelson 77th, Edwards 92nd and Taplin 120th.
