Local DirecTV customers may have noticed a gaping hole in their available channels lately – namely the loss of the Denver CBS affiliate station KCNC, which went dark last month.

Fans of shows including “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” “60 Minutes,” and the upcoming NFL football season won’t be able to access those on DirecTV, as long as contract negotiations between DirecTV and CBS remain unresolved.
