Ouray County’s new health department director will split her time with San Miguel County, in an agreement where the two governments will share costs to employ Rosalind Penney, who will start her job as director next week.

Former Health Department Director Elizabeth Lawaczeck resigned in April, shortly after San Miguel County Health Department Director June Nepsky retired after serving in her position for 32 years.
