Groups partner on trail maintenance

The Ouray Trail Group partnered with the U.S. Forest Service and local outfitter Action Adventures last weekend to do some much needed-maintenance on four popular trails in the Uncompahgre Wilderness northeast of Ouray.

Ten OTG volunteers worked for two days with the Forest Service and Action Adventures owner Justin Mitchell, who volunteered a pack string of three mules to haul the team’s gear and camp equipment to an overnight camp high on Baldy Ridge overlooking the Uncompahgre Valley.
