July 15

Officer conducted a directed patrol of Oak Street.

Officer conducted a directed patrol on Oak Street.

Officer conducted a directed patrol on Seventh Avenue.

Officer conducted a traffic stop for speeding in the 100 block of Seventh Avenue.

Officer responded to a report of found property at Twin Peaks Motel.

Officer conducted an agency assist for the Sheriff’s Office at Orvis Hot Springs.

July 16

Officer responded to a parking violation in the 900 block of Main Street.

Office conducted a directed patrol on Seventh Avenue.

Officer conducted a medical assist at 100 Fedel Court.

Officer conducted a directed patrol on Main Street.

Officer conducted a foot patrol at Fellin Park.

Officer conducted an animal welfare check in the 200 block of Seventh Avenue.

Officer responded to a parking violation in the 700 block of Main Street.

Officer conducted a business check at Ouray Liquors.

Officer responded to a suspicious party in the alley behind 630 Main St.

Officer responded to a report of an open window at Citizens State Bank. Window was secured by bank staff.

Officer responded to a welfare check at 531 Sixth Ave.

July 17

Officer conducted a business check of Colorado West Jeep Rentals.

Officer responded to the southern city limit for a traffic complaint. An OHV was reported to be driving on the highway towards Ouray. It was never seen entering city limits.

Officer responded to CDOT off of CR 361 to perform a certified VIN Inspection.

Officer contacted several people at Fellin Park in regards to their dogs being off-leash.

Officer responded to a hotel in the 100 block of Third Avenue for a lost property report. A man had lost a gun he

left in his room. Turns out the man’s son had the gun and it was not in fact lost.

Officer conducted a directed patrol of Oak Street.

Officer initiated a traffic stop for speeding in the 1900 block of Oak Street.

Officer initiated a traffic stop in the 400 block of Main Street for a vehicle with multicolored lights flashing underneath it. The vehicle had just left a certain off-road event and forgot to turn them off.

Officer conducted a bar check of the Silver Eagle Saloon.

July 18

Officer assisted a motorist with a flat tire in the 200 block of Main Street.

Officer assisted the Ouray Fire Department in investigating a report of smoke in the area of 550 and CR 17. It was a controlled burn in Whispering Pines.

Officer conducted a foot patrol of the FJ Summit.

Officer conducted a foot patrol of Main Street.

Officer responded to the area of Third Avenue and Sixth Street for a report of a barking dog. Officer searched the area without finding the barking dog.

Officer discovered a bear in the alley of the 200 block of Eighth Avenue.

Officer lost track of it after it circled the block a few times.

July 19

Officer responded to a hit-and-run accident in the 200 block of First Avenue.

Officer conducted an agency assist for the Ouray Sheriff’s Department on Red Mountain to find a suicidal party.

Officer responded to an animal welfare call in the 300 block of Sixth Avenue

Officer conducted a foot patrol of Main Street.

Officer conducted a traffic stop for speeding in the 1200 block of Main Street.

Officer conducted a foot patrol on Main Street.

Officer conducted a directed patrol on Oak Street.

Officer conducted a bar check at the Silver Eagle.

July 20

Officer responded to shoplifting at Silver Lynx on Main Street. The property was recovered and the suspect fled prior to arrival

Officer responded back to 720 Main St. for follow up with victim on shoplifting incident

Officer responded to the Ouray Pool to help a woman with an ankle injury.

Officer responded to a parking violation in the 300 block of Fifth Avenue.

Officer conducted a traffic stop for speeding in the 1200 block of Main Street.

Officer conducted an agency assist for the Sheriff’s Office for a possible missing hiker.

Officer conducted a foot patrol on Main Street.

Officer conducted an agency assist with the fire department at Whispering Pines.

Officer conducted a traffic stop for a non-functioning headlight.

Officer responded to a report of a loud vehicle at Eighth Avenue and Fifth Street.

July 21

Officer responded to a parking violation at Main Street and Ninth Avenue

Officer responded to four motorcycles parked along the yellow curb at Main Street and Eighth Avenue.

Officer conducted a directed patrol on Amphitheater area.

Officer conducted a directed patrol Oak Street.

Officer conducted a directed patrol on Main Street.

Officer responded to a dog at large complaint on Oak Street.

Officer responded to a traffic complaint on Main Street.
